Alexander Fore

Alexander Fore was serving his country during the Vietnam War when he gave his all in the line of duty. He  was drafted into the Army. Entered the service via Selective Service. He began his tour on 25 March 1967.  Fore had the rank of Private First Class. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry.  Attached to 4th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry, C Company. 

He was born on 23 September 1947. According to our records New Jersey was his home or enlistment state  and Mercer County has been included within the archival record. We have Trenton listed as his city. During  his service in the Vietnam War, Army Private First Class Fore was reported missing and ultimately declared  dead on 4 May 1967. 

He died along with four other service members during a hostile firefight while on a combat operation in  Pleiku Province, South Vietnam.
