William Cecil Fore proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. Drafted through the Selective Service System, he entered military service on March 25, 1966, and rose to the rank of Specialist Four.

Specialist Fore served as a Light Weapons Infantryman with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 1st Battalion,

503rd Infantry Regiment, A Company.

He was born on 15 November 1946. According to our records South Carolina was his  home or enlistment state and Marion County has been included within the archival  record. We have Marion listed as his city. During his service in the Vietnam War, Army  Specialist Four Fore experienced a traumatic event which ultimately resulted in loss of  life on 11 February 1967. Recorded circumstances attributed to: Died through hostile  action explosive device. Incident location: South Vietnam, Bien Hoa province.
